Abstract
I served on the violin faculty for Tianjin Juilliard School's Pre-College division for three academic years, from 2019-2021. I built and maintained a large studio of students age 8-17; I gave them weekly lessons and a weekly studio class. All teaching was done in Chinese, with the exception of lessons with one student who was about to move to America for college studies - as such, lessons with her were in English.
For the purposes of the 2022-2023 Brandeis Faculty Annual Review, I am including the spring '22 semester of this teaching.
