Abstract
This lexicon was written by Brandeis faculty, visiting scholars, undergraduate and graduate students. It provides an overview of the format of traditional Chinese correspondence has it has changed from the Qing dynasty to the Republic. This text provides researchers and scholars insight into the various aspects of pre-modern and modern letter writing.
