Abstract
Eleven papers examine a broad range of new training initiatives that are governed jointly by employers and unions. Contributions focus on the scope and extent of joint labor-management training programs; leading union-management initiatives; training for dislocated workers; joint programs for lifelong learning; service delivery in joint training programs; the governance of joint training initiatives; and public policy and research implications of joint training programs.
