Abstract
The article focuses on adult Jewish learning, it aims to shed light on a few significant moments in the history of adult Jewish learning in the United States. Although adult Jewish learning has undergone a dramatic revitalization over the past decade, we know almost nothing about how to conceptualize these developments historically. This is mainly because the standard histories of American Jewish education ignore adult Jewish learning.
