Abstract
I was born and raised a Jewish American, but the journey to activist took decades—decades of studying, researching, writing … and decades of sexual harassment. I was hurt, I was betrayed, and now I am angry. I am angry about what I and so many other women have experienced. I am angry about what people of all genders have endured for far too long. And I am angry that toxic masculinity continues to be made light of at the highest levels in this country. Coined in the men’s movements of the 1980s, toxic masculinity evolved into an umbrella term
