Jon Arsen Chilingerian passed away in May 2023, and this article is a salute to him and his career. Jon was a prominent scholar in healthcare management and noted for his many contributions to the use of data envelopment analysis in research on provision of health services. Jon was also a passionate and engaging instructor who had a profound impact on students around the globe.
