1716 Stradivari violin "Messiah" (Ashmolean Museum, Oxford)

The dataset includes:

1. DICOM CT data folders for the violin at resolutions 100% (22GB), and also 6.25%, 27%, and 40%. For CT visualization using freeware (such as Horos for the Mac), we estimate that the RAM memory requirement is four times the size of the dataset. Provided is several solutions---see also the attached resizing software (which may require a larger download prior to resizing).
2. STL files for 3D visualization and printing (2.6GB).
3. PDF files for a geometric reconstruction of the rib outline (inside, from the internal mold).

Access to the dataset is by permission only, granted by writing to digitalamati.library@gmail.com. The request must be made with an attestation that the request is for personal use only, and not to be sent to anyone else. This constraint is to keep an approximate record of who has use of the data. Abrogations will only compromise the status of the digital library.
