Abstract
Sculptor Peter Grippe was an important member in the fine arts program of Brandeis University from the moment he arrived at the newly founded department in 1954. By that time, he was an established figure in the New York art scene and part of a group of artists who were taking an innovative approach to sculpture.
"Peter Grippe" is the first comprehensive publication of the artist's extensive oeuvre, and we hope it will illuminate the many facets of his work.
