Abstract
In this study, I have looked at the effects of BMP2 on P-Smad cytoplasmic and cellular\r localization to determine how Smads may regulate GFAP expression to promote an immature\r glial cell fate.\r I also have looked at the effects of denervation on cardiac myocytes and the effects of\r reinnervation by denervated sympathetic neurons onto immature cardiac myocytes. We are\r therefore looking at the developmental mechanisms promoting the neuronal development while\r also looking at the effects of sympathetic innervations onto myocytes later in development.
