Abstract
This paper describes why the number of Pakistani terrorists and acts of terrorism are on the rise in India and in the United States. By examining the global\r jihadism movement in Pakistan as an unintended consequence of the Indian\r Partition, Pakistan can be viewed, as an antacid abstract with few roots, and with it,\r so is the identity of the Pakistani. Many Pakistanis are looking for what every\r human being needs: a sense of belonging and identity. For some of them global\r jihadism is a religious expression of this frustration. By examining terrorism and\r personality traits of terrorists, this paper suggests that because several Pakistanis\r have found a sense of belonging within jihadist movements, Pakistani terrorism\r geared towards the West is likely to increase.
