Abstract
This essay discusses the academic test score disparity between whites and minorities, namely Hispanics and African Americans. It is argued that while scores for Blacks have risen, there remains as much as a 100 point gap between the average SAT scores of Black and Hispanic students and those of White and Asian American students.
