Abstract
Winning the Alice D. Hitchcock Award from the Society of Architectural Historians in 1994, Yegül succeeded in surveying baths and bathing across the entirety of classical antiquity. Because of this triumph, Cambridge University Press asked Yegül, almost twenty years later, to update his book for a wider audience.
