Abstract
This Black feminist roundtable commemorates the fiftieth anniversary of Angela Davis’s “Reflections on the Black Woman’s Role in the Community of Slaves.” Contributors Sarah Haley, Shoniqua Roach, Emily A. Owens, and Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor reflect on the continued impact of this essay within and beyond the fields of Black (Geography) Studies, Black Feminist Theory, Black Women’s History, and theories of racial capitalism.
