Abstract

Proteins Deoxyribonucleic acid Research DNA Genetics
The MASH genes are vertebrate homologues of achaete-scute, genes required for neuronal determination of Drosophila. The DNA binding of MASH proteins was examined, along with transcriptional regulatory activity, by using a binding site from the muscle creatine kinase gene, a target of MyoD.
