Alkynes Catalysis Chemical Reactions
The CH2O·Me2AlCl complex reacts with terminal alkynes to give α-allenic alcohols via a formal ene reaction and Z-3-chloroallylic alcohols via a stereospecifically syn Friedel-Crafts addition.
