Economic commentary (Cleveland), p.3

Abstract

Analysis Business cycles Industrial productivity Seasonal variations (Economics)
A real-time analysis of industrial production within the paper and pulp industry confirms regular interactions between seasonal and cyclical shifts. The various states of seasonality during different stages of the business cycle was observed using disaggregated data. The empirical evidence can be combined with data on inventory fluctuations to determine the nature of corporate production costs.
