Abstract
Biblical scholars from the US and Australia discussed Bernadette J. Booten's book "Love between Women" about the biblical history of lesbianism. All applauded Booten's scholarship and her contribution to the history of lesbianism. Some scholars raised the issue of the difference between ancient and modern sexual conventions and categories. Others discussed the implications the book has for the modern church's dialogue with lesbians.
