Abstract

SCP RPCH HN VD
Rhythmic movements in animals are controlled by neuronal circuits that generate repeating motor patterns. Recent research is providing new insights into the cellular mechanisms by which central pattern generating circuits are reorganized by sensory, central and hormonal inputs to allow the animal to repond flexibly to varying environmental and behavioral demands.
