Abstract

Communication Negotiations Sensory perception
In negotiation, when tensions are exacerbated, parties tend to build a biased world vision where they exonerate themselves from any responsibility, while charging the other side with all evils. This article explores the perception that parties have about themselves and others in the different negotiation stages and interactions. The negotiators preoccupation often amount to overestimating oneself and underestimating the other.
