Abstract

electron transport particles Mycobacterium phlei naphthosemiquinones mechanism
Several characteristics of the free radicals associated with electron transport particles from Mycobacterium phlei were discussed in the preceding paper (1). In this paper we will present observations regarding the mechanism of radical formation and present evidence which supports our conclusion that the radicals observed are naphthosemiquinones.
