Abstract
Solo album "The Road" to be released summer 2023; recorded July 2022 at Futura Studios and in September 2022 at Slosberg Hall.
"The Road" showcases new and recent music by Chinese-speaking composers and aims to maintain artistic dialogue between China and the US, showcase the breadth of styles within contemporary Chinese music, and explore language and music overlaps in music written by speakers Chinese, a tonal language.
