Abstract
This year at ARCO Madrid we bring together the practices of Sheida Soleimani (b. 1990) and Ria Verhaeghe (b. 1950), two artists whose works delve into deeply personal and political histories through the lens of care, compassion, and embodied memory. Though distinct in medium and cultural context, both artists challenge the viewer to confront the ways in which history shapes, burdens, and ultimately connects us.
