Abstract
During my residency at RAIR, Philadelphia, we brought Portable Window to a near by event, Middle of Nowhere, in the Pine Barrens, NJ, and rolled the sculpture around the grounds of an historic town next to cranberry bogs and swamps in the Pine Barrens. Rolling the sculpture inspired spontaneous collaboration and engaged the community and the landscape. -- Tory Fair
