Abstract
This display explores some of today's most pressing issues through diverse approaches to contemporary image-making. Delving particularly into themes of craft and ecology, the display includes two major new commissions by Jonathas de Andrade and Mari Katayama alongside works by Ana Teresa Barboza, Carlos Garaicoa, Dionne Lee, Frida Orupabo, Traces of Nitrate (Ignacio Acosta, Louise Purbrick, and Xavier Ribas), Ilanit Illouz, Monica Alcazar Duarte, Paz Errazuriz, Sheida Soleimani, Theo Simpson, Yan Wang Preston, Yuki Tawada, and Fuku Fukumoto.
