Abstract
The poet Denise Levertov said, "Accuracy is always the gateway to mystery." This triptych combines science and poetry to approach an understanding of whales. It contains the poems "Whalefall," "Historic Numbers of Right Whales Skim Feeding off Cape Cod" and "Right Whale: Death as Spectacle."
