Abstract

Wealth Employment or Unemployment Studies Personal Finance
This brief examines the features and locations of jobs that help families build wealth. It explores what happens when workers do not have jobs with characteristics that build and preserve wealth. It answers the question of why inequities exist in access to those job characteristics and proposes policy solutions to improve work-based pathways to wealth building and economic security.
