Abstract
This report is the most recent in a program of evaluation of Hillel International’s Springboard Fellowship, their flagship program for early career professionals and currently the largest career incubator program in the Jewish community. Designed to serve as a talent pipeline for both Hillel and the broader Jewish nonprofit sector, Springboard places recent college graduates on North American college campuses to build relationships with students and develop participants’ skills as Jewish leaders and educators.
This report is based on data collected in late 2025 and spring 2026. The report describes Ezra and Springboard alumni’s employment in the Jewish nonprofit sector (including Hillel) and post Fellowship graduate education as of November 2025. Findings from the annual alumni survey also include career priorities, professional development activities, continuing connections to the Fellowships, and participation in Jewish life and leadership.
The report also focuses on the post-Fellowship experiences of alumni from Springboard’s Zayin (2022-2024) and Chet (2023-2025) cohorts, the program’s most recent alumni. The report describes how Springboard training, professional development, and on-the-job experiences have contributed to alumni career development and professional interests. The report also explores how working on campus immediately after October 7, 2023 and during the 2023-24 academic year influenced alumni decisions about pursuing careers in Hillel and the Jewish nonprofit sector.
