Abstract
In recent years, the American Jewish community has begun to devote increased attention and resources to its adolescents. Unfortunately, there is little systematic knowledge about these teenagers’ lives. The Jewish Adolescent Study is developing a portrait of what Jewish teens do with their time; what they care about; how they relate to family, friends, school, and the future; and how being Jewish fits into this broader context of teen life. This article appeared in the Summer 2000 issue of Agenda: Jewish Education published by the Jewish Education Service of North America.
