Abstract
The purpose of the course is to explore the evolution of the Israeli-Moroccan relations,
and to examine the challenges confronting the future of these relationships after the
Abraham Accords. The course will cover the main critical issues including regional
conflicts such as the Iranian nuclear threat, the war on Terror, trade policy and oil
investments in Morocco, military cooperation, the Middle East tensions, and the Israeli
policy in the Maghreb, and Anti-Semitism in the North Africa. Also, the course will
address the interaction between international actors such as the American Foreign policy
in the MENA Region and the politics of some regional powers namely China, Russia, and
Turkey (3 Credits).
