Abstract
In Immanuel Kant's moral and political philosophy, honeste vive serves as a concept that sits at the middle of an intersection between the strictly moral and strictly political philosophy. This intersection appears throughout our lives and practical experience as well as illustrated through the power of the disinformation and misinformation at the core of the 2023 Dominion v. Fox News case. The concept of honeste vive appears to an honorable and honest life with respect for law and respect for humanity. This thesis explores this idea and how it creates a foundation for legal, political, and civic society including examining practical examples in legal frameworks and constitutions around the world.
