My teaching emphasizes the fusion of writing with scientific topics. Additionally, my focus is on the development of pedagogy, science writing, workshop and curriculum design, and interdisciplinary programming. I received my B.A. in biology from Brown University and my Ph.D. in biological anthropology and anatomy from Duke University.
