Scholarship and Biography

Guy Antebi is a Lecturer in Hebrew at Brandeis University, where he has taught since 2004. He brings extensive pedagogical experience to the program, having previously taught in the Department of Middle East and South Asian Studies at Emory University, Middlebury College, and the Critical Languages program at the University of Alabama.

Mr. Antebi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Technology and Middle Eastern Studies, as well as a Master’s degree in Agency Administration, from the University of Alabama. He also earned a Master of Arts in Teaching Hebrew from Brandeis University. His primary area of specialized interest is the integration of educational technology in language acquisition, a focus he applies as the lead instructor and developer for Brandeis’s asynchronous summer Hebrew courses at the beginner and intermediate levels.

Beyond the classroom, Mr. Antebi is a prominent voice in the campus community as the Program Director and an on-air personality for WBRS 100.1 FM, Brandeis University Radio. In this role, he produces Hebrew language programming, featuring guest interviews, curated music selections, and cultural commentary on Israeli artists and news.
