Scholarship and Biography

I analyze departures from full-information rational expectations, assess the role of belief distortions in these departures, and evaluate the implications for policymakers in finance and macroeconomics. My job-market paper – Inflation Expectations: Evidence of a Cross-Country Cycle of ‘Mistakes’ – explores the expectation formation process from an international perspective.
