Scholarship and Biography

Neal Hampton is the conductor of the Brandeis Wellesley Orchestra and is a composer, primarily of musical theater. His musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility received its world premier at the Denver Center Theatre Company in April 2013, had its UK premiere in 2023, a subsequent production there in 2024 with UK tour in 2025. He has also written music for ballet and stage productions in the U.S. and Canada.
