Scholarship and Biography
With over 15 years of experience in higher education, I am passionate about achieving impact through teaching, research, and leadership. As the Associate Dean at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, I oversee the academic affairs (students), international partnerships, course planning, and student services of a diverse and interdisciplinary community of scholars and practitioners. I also teach courses on sustainable international development, program evaluation, qualitative research, and geographic information system (GIS) drawing on my expertise and credentials in these fields. Additionally, I contribute to the Heller School's mission of addressing critical social issues and creating positive change by leading and supporting various initiatives, such as developing new academic programs, securing grants and funding, global partnerships, enhancing online and hybrid learning, and fostering collaborations across sectors and disciplines. My doctoral research explored internationalization and engaging higher education institutions in partnership development/collaboration with a focus on BRICS using a mutuality lens.
