Scholarship and Biography
Shahar Hecht is an associate research scientist at CMJS where she is the project manager of several large-scale research projects. Her research focuses on Jewish young adults, campus climate, and antisemitism. She has co-authored numerous manuscripts and academic articles exploring life on US campuses, views about Jews and Israel among US undergraduates and faculty, and the impact of Birthright Israel. She received a joint bachelor's degree in psychology and business administration from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where she also received a master's degree in criminology.
