Scholarship and Biography

Yang Lab explores fundamental sequence–structure–function relationships in peptides and proteins. We design proteins with supramolecular assembly in mind to uncover how structure drives function. By integrating computational design, organic synthesis, structural biology, and multi-modal omics, we are creating tools that enable new therapeutics, programmable materials, and catalysts.
