Scholarship and Biography

Chandra Joseph-Lacet has spent the last 27 years working in the field of education. She began her career in Higher Education working in various Student Affairs Departments. After several years in Higher Ed, she transitioned to K-12 education and began her teaching career as an Elementary School Teacher with the Boston Public Schools. She has also served as a Special Education Teacher, Literacy Coach, Special Education Coordinator, Assistant Principal and New Teacher Developer. Currently she serves as an Aspiring Teacher Coach and MTEL Support Specialist for the Boston Public Schools. Her passion is working with teachers to elevate instructional practices and create highly engaging, student-centered environments focused on empowering teachers and strengthening student learning outcomes. She is the CEO of CJ Education Consulting Group, LLC and currently, is a co-host of "Real Talk, Real Time with Chandra and Gorgette", a weekly virtual event supporting teachers through the complexities and changes in teaching and learning.
