Scholarship and Biography

I believe that social, cognitive, and biological levels of analysis complement each other and that in order to truly understand a psychological phenomenon we need comprehensive theories and integrative research that spans across levels of analysis. Following this research philosophy, my lab uses a multi-method approach, utilizing behavioral methods in combination with neuroimaging (EEG) and physiological measures (EMG, and ECG), to investigate how we perceive, understand and adapt to others' actions, intentions and emotions.
