Scholarship and Biography

Jonathan Krasner, Associate Professor, is the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Professor of Jewish Education Research with a joint appointment in the Department of Near Eastern and Judaic Studies and the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Center for Studies in Jewish Education. His current research interests include the history of American Jewish education, the teaching and learning of Jewish history and social studies, Jewish youth, and Jews and sexuality. At the Mandel Center, he is currently leading research projects on the history of Jewish and the teaching and learning of Jewish history.
