Scholarship and Biography

I am a survey researcher working at the nexus of health services and health care policy. My passion is to assess how system transformation impacts the lived experiences of patients and workers. Throughout my career I have studied the roles of patients, care partners, nurses, physicians, social workers, mental health professionals, and frontline staff working in teams caring for diverse patients with complex health and social needs.

Current research includes models of care for older adults, disabled people, and people with substance use disorders, in homes, residential care, hospital, primary care, and long term services and supports.
