Scholarship and Biography

Professor Quinney teaches Romanticism, poetry and poetics, and philosophical approaches to literature. She has published several scholarly books - Literary Power and the Criteria of Truth (UP Florida, 1995), The Poetics of Disappointment (UP Virginia, 1999) and William Blake on Self and Soul (Harvard, 2010) - as well as three books of poetry, Corridor, New Ghosts, and Stumbling (Borderland Books, 2008, 2016, 2024).
