Scholarship and Biography

Research concerns how and why people's physical qualities, such as facial appearance, influence impressions of their traits and social affordances, the accuracy and neural correlates of these impressions, and the influence of aging and dopamine levels on these effects. An additional area of interest concerns factors influencing attitude and behavioral responses to the threat of climate change.
