Scholarship and Biography

Lindsey McWhorter is a Boston area professional actor and has worked as a Dance Teaching Artist with the Citi Performing Arts Center, Actors' Shakespeare Project, and Montana Repertory Theatre.


In the Boston area she has performed at Lyric Stage Company, Central Square Theatre, Speakeasy Stage Company, Boston Playwrights Theater, Commonwealth Shakespeare, Up You Mighty Race Theatre Company,, and Double Edge Theatre. Regionally she has appeared at Yale Repertory Theatre, Berkshire Theatre Festival, and The Hangar Theatre. She has also performed nationally with Montana Repertory Theatre and has performed with Idaho Summer Repertory Theatre. Film credits include a featured extra role in "Irrational Man" by Woody Allen and a featured role in "Noah" by Anthony Deveney. Commercial credits include principal roles in WB Mason, WBUR Radio, Idea Paint, CT Lotto, and Iron Mountain Commercials among a few others. She will be playing Anna in the upcoming production of "Anna Christie" at Lyric Stage Company.


She holds an MFA from the Brandies University in Acting and has a BA in Theatre Arts from Alabama State University. She is a member of the Actors Equity Association and the Screen Actors Guild.
