Scholarship and Biography

Dr. Manju Edachira is a Cultural Theorist and Comparatist. She researches and teaches South Asian Films, Literature and Critical Caste Studies. Her PhD explored contemporary Malayalam cinema, caste problematic and anti-caste aesthetics. She is currently working on her manuscript on Caste and Contemporary Indian Cinema. Dr. Edachira has researched and published on Indian Cinema, anti-caste aesthetics, affect and archives.
