Scholarship and Biography

Teaching migration through ethnographic representation, developing new guidelines for teaching all levels of Italian, ongoing curriculum development on teaching the Italian Diaspora and Migrations from and to Italy, developing teaching material on Italian language and culture at large.

Experience proficiency based instruction and ACTFL tester for OPI interviews. Designing curriculum goals and objectives for upper level courses in Italian. Working on Hybrid classrooms activities, Implementing IPA (Integrated Performance Assessment) at all levels of instructions, Participating and presenting in local and International professional workshops on new methodologies on teaching Italian, Italian Inclusive curriculum, alumni connections, Italian New England Film festival organizer at Brandeis, co-curricular events and lectures organizer on Italian Jewish Culture, Migration to Italy, Italian Design. Active member of professional organizations (AATI, ACTFL, MITA)
