As a lecturer of Physics my primary professional interest is in helping introduce students to the intellectual tools and methods of thinking associated with the study of physics. I have found that many of the tools of theoretical science help one to organize information, solve problems, and learn new material quickly. This can be applied to any aspect of life and is a perspective that I hope to share with my students. My past research interests have been in the field of condensed matter physics, specifically studying the microscopic mechanism behind high temperature superconductivity.
