Scholarship and Biography
Sabrina S. Rapisarda, ABD, MA, MEd, is a Research Associate I for Drs. Traci Green and Cynthia Tschampl in the Institute of Behavioral Health. Sabrina earned both of her bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Springfield College (MA), in addition to acquiring two master's degrees - one in Criminal Justice and one in Education - from the University of Massachusetts (UMass) Lowell and Endicott College, respectively. Sabrina is currently a PhD Candidate in the School of Criminology & Justice Studies at UMass Lowell and specializes in mixed-methods research that homes in on criminal/legal-public health intersections, including substance use and related harms, intimate partner / sexual violence and help-seeking, and treatment courts. She has also conducted research on the impacts of COVID-19 on correctional institutions globally.
