Scholarship and Biography

In addition to her 34 years of teaching on the faculty of the Theater Arts Department at Brandeis University, Susan Dibble is currently the Director of Movement and Dance Training, Resident Choreographer and Master Teacher for Shakespeare & Co. Lenox, Mass.

She has worked as a choreographer and movement director for numerous theater companies including Actors Shakespeare Project and Boston Playwrights Theater in Boston Ma.

Susan is the Director of Dibble Dance Theater and has performed her work for over 40 years.

Susan wrote an article for Movement for Actors: Published Article: Shakespeare and the Three Centers of the Body.


Susan is a Painter and has her work shown at Millbrook Studios and Lauren Clark Gallery in Great Barrington, Mass., Arlington Center for the Arts.
