Tom Hall has toured throughout the US and Europe performing and recording in a wide variety of musical styles, with bands such as The Bruce Katz Band, Club d'Elf, Bob Nieske's Wolf Soup, and Your Neighborhood Saxophone Quartet (of which he is a founding member). Hall has appeared on over 30 CD's and has played at many festivals like The Boston Globe Jazz Festival, Moers Music Festival (Germany), Bang on a Can New Music Festival (NYC). Nottendon Blues Festival (Norway), and Mellon Jazz Festival (Philadelphia). He has collaborated with a wide variety of musicians, including John Medeski, D.J. Logic, Reeves Gabrels, Joe Maneri, Dave Tronzo, and Jacques Morelenbaum. He is an instructor at Brandeis University and MIT, and is the author of "Free Improvisation: A Practical Guide". Hall is the host and creator of ImprovLive 365.
